Tactical Assassin 2 Mission 9: Dealing with a Tricky Fight
Tactical Assassin is one of those games that is very simple, but at the same time, presents a lot of the elements found in other high end titles. There is an attention to detail that really makes the game fun and atmospheric, despite its black and white aesthetic design. At the same time, the game refines shooting mechanics to their purest, but not to the point of extreme realism. All these together make the game worthy of your time.
A lot of missions in this title are very straight forward, the thing is, there is one that really does take a little more brain than bullet. Tactical Assassin 2 Mission 9 is the final mission in the game, however, it takes a lot more thinking to take out the target. Some people might think that shooting the guy leaning on the car is the only way to do it, when in truth, you have to remain completely hidden. This basically makes that shot invalid, and if you take it, you’ll fail the mission badly. Instead, you have to pass to be cunning about it and instead resort to the use of a mad bomber.
One major stipulation about this mission is that the kill can’t come from your rifle. Instead, it has to be passed through the services of a bomber, so your real mission is to make enough distractions so that he can plant the bomb he has on the car that the target is leaning on. As another stipulation, any kills on this mission will render it failed, and you have to restart so besides the main target, the bodyguards are also a no go. Okay, so the first thing you need to do in order to keep the mad bomber safe is to hit the tree next to one guard. This will cause him to investigate it. Once that is done, the next guard will be distracted by a bottle next to the alleyway of the main building. Hit this, and the bomber can advance even further. The last bullet should be aimed at the fuse box next to the target; this will make him check it out, leaving enough of a space for the bomber to plant his explosive on the car. Once that is done, you can just watch the master plan unfold and they remain none-the-wiser about your presence during this whole mission.
So that’s about it. Once you are done with this, the game will end and if you did it perfectly you will earn $26000. Use it to upgrade weapons and buy Diazepam if you want to revisit a few missions you’ve already passed. Besides that, there are also cheats you can use if you don’t want to go through the same hassle the first time around. On top of that, if you played this game before its predecessor, you can also check out the first title. Be reminded though that the first game only has 7 missions, so it won’t add much in terms of the length of the experience. However, it is still a worth game to play, and it does have the same thrills that TA-2 has.
